The adolescent years are a time of profound change, both for teenagers and their parents. Adolescents embark on a journey of self-discovery, seeing themselves and the world around them through a different lens than in their earlier years. In my work with teenagers, I aim to provide a safe and welcoming space where I can be curious about their evolving understanding of the world. Together, we explore, identify, and address the sources of their pain and struggles, while also empowering them with insights and coping skills. Every teenager is unique in their journey. Some may be eager to engage in deep, meaningful discussions that foster self-reflection, maturity, and healing. Others may prefer expressing themselves through creative outlets and playful interactions as a way to grow personally. My role is to meet each adolescent where they are, providing the support and guidance they need to navigate this transformative phase of life.
